“It Was Hard For Thomas Partey To Get To Europe” – Parteys Father Finally Speaks After Arsenal Move

Thomas Teye Partey’s father Mr. Jacob Partey has finally revealed how his son, Thomas Teye Partey got to Europe to play football.

Thomas Partey began his professional career at Spanish club Atlético Madrid in 2013, going on loan to Mallorca and Almería, and returned to Atlético in 2015, with whom he won the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup in 2018.

Mr. Jacob Partey earlier revealed his interest of his son joining Arsenal in June 2020.

Thomas Teye Partey was one of the longest target that Arsenal have always wanted to sign like how Jadon Sancho was also one of the longest target to Manchester United whose move to Old Trafford couldn’t succeed due to the failure to meet his £108million release clause despite his interest of joining ‘The Reds’ from Borussia Dortmund.

For Partey to arrive in Europe was very hard thing but it has come to pass, said Mr. Jacob Partey.

According to Mr. Jacob Partey it was hard for his son to leave Ghana to Spain until he sold many of his properties to refund money before flying to Europe.

“It wasn’t easy for partey to leave Ghana to Spain. I had to sell my land s and many properties to help my son”

Mr. Jacob Partey revealed on Ghanaian based Hot Fm’s ‘Sports Focal’ show earlier on Wednesday 7 October 2020 morning.
